Instructions | Click to scroll to the top of the Calculator

To start, simply click on the button labelled "Player 1" and a box will extend below the table with 13 cards, from 2 to Ace. Simply click on a card in order to select it for your poker hand. To select different suits, click on the appropriate suit on the left hand side of the poker odds calculator. If you'd like to select groups of poker hands, click on the starting hands button on the bottom right. By clicking on a hand, it will add it to the range of hands - by clicking on it again, it will remove it from the range of hands. The buttons on the right labelled "Pairs" and "Broadway" will highlight those ranges of hands instantly. The clear button will clear all poker hands that you've selected in the Poker Odds Calculator. By clicking on the R button next to the player, you can assign a random poker hand to them. All of the above applies to Player 2 as well.

Once you've filled in hand(s) for both Players 1 and 2, and optionally any cards that were on the board, click Calculate in order to get the results. The Win column represents the percentage of the time the hand will win at showdown, the Lose column represents the percentage of the time the hand will lose at showdown, and the Tie column will show the percentage of the time the poker hand will end in a tie. The equity, which represents the portion of the pot on average you will win, can be calculated by the following formula:

Equity% = Win% + (0.5 * Tie%)

Now that you've learned all you need to know about the Poker Odds Calculator, try it out! See how bad of a beat you really had, and compare notes with your friends.
