BlackChip Poker Bonus Code: 1000FTR

Be sure to click through our links and enter the bonus code 1000FTR when making your new account. Take a look at the screenshot above to see where in the signup form you should put this code. When you make an initial deposit to fund your account, the amount you deposit will be 100% matched with a bonus of up to $1,000.

Unlike some other sites, which release bonus funds in infrequent, large chunks or even all at once, the bonus at BlackChip is earned one dollar at a time. This means that you won’t encounter the annoyance of having to put in sick volume in a short time to reach the next bonus payout. Instead, another $1 of bonus will become available for transfer to your real-money balance every time you accrue 27.5 Award Points. You’ll get these points through normal poker play at a rate of 5.5 of them for every dollar you rake or pay in tourney fees, for an effective rakeback rate of 20%. You have 60 days in order to unlock as much of the bonus as you can before it expires. Put in some serious time at the micros, and you’ll have a good shot at getting a couple hundred dollars for free. Or if you’re a serious midstakes grinder, you might be able to rake the $5,000 necessary to fulfill the requirements for the whole $1,000 bonus. Find out everything there is to know about this welcome bonus at our BlackChip Poker Bonus Code page.

BlackChip Poker will also give you entries into freerolls upon your making your first deposit. The poker site welcomes new depositors with $250 freerolls each Saturday. You’ll receive entry into these freerolls for the rest of the calendar month that you deposited, up to a total of four freeroll tournaments. Fund your account during the first few days of the month to maximize your opportunities to compete for real money for free.

Elite Benefits VIP Program

Much like your typical brick-and-mortar casino, BlackChip rewards its frequent players through a VIP club, which is called “Elite Benefits.” Unlike most traditional casinos, you’ll start to get rewards even if you play for nickle-and-dime stakes. Your level in the program is based upon the number of Rank Points you earn during a month or a year. You don’t need to jump through any hoops to get these points; you’ll earn them through normal play at the tables.

As you generate more and more Rank Points, you’ll start to progress through the levels, and you’ll earn Player Points to use in the BlackChip store. The higher your level, the faster you’ll earn Player Points. The levels are:

– Player
– Rounder
– Grinder
– Veteran
– Legend
– Icon

As you advance through the tiers in the program, you’ll be able to trade your points in for larger cash bonuses, cool store merchandise and tournament entries. When you reach certain Rank Points targets throughout the year, you’ll be rewarded with special cash awards that get bigger and bigger the more you play. At Icon level, you’ll even get a free luxury poker vacation package to the Punta Cana Poker Classic. The rewards possible with this program can amount to as much as 69% rake equivalent.

No Limit-Hold’em cash players should have no trouble finding cash games at BlackChip Poker at any stakes from $0.01/$0.02 through $2/$4 at any time of day. Tables run up to $25/$50, but there’s limited action above midstakes. PLO players should find enough games running to occupy their attention, but playing different stakes at the same time may be necessary if you want to multitable.

BlackChip Poker spreads Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi-Lo in NL, PL and fixed limit formats, Seven-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo. However, there are seldom more than about half a dozen tables of all these games combined running at any given time.

Cash players, apart from heads-up specialists, qualify for the free The Beast rake race. The leading rakers at the end of the week will split up a prize pool containing cash and satellite tournament tickets. You can check your position in the rankings on the frequently updated leaderboard at BlackChip Poker’s website.

If sit-and-gos are more your cup of tea, you’ll be pleased to see that BlackChip offers full-ring, 6-max and heads-up SNGs. Most of the traffic is at the $22 level or below, but there are some $60 and higher tourneys that fire. Jackpot Poker is a type of lottery SNG that features three players competing for a prize pool that’s multiplied by a random factor at the beginning of the event. This type of game is offered at $2, $10 and $40 stakes, and you could play for 2,500 times the amount you paid to enter if the poker gods smile upon you. No word yet on whether or not sacrificing a chicken will help your odds.

Much like their ring game brethren, SNG grinders compete for cash and satellite entries in a volume challenge every week, called “Sit & Crush.” Both regular sit-and-gos as well as Jackpot Poker count towards the leaderboard. Heads-up tourneys are excluded.

On the MTT front, BlackChip runs events with a wide range of buyins from $0 up to $530 every week. Occasionally, there’s an Online Super Series (OSS) with tournaments in varying formats and nice guaranteed prize pools.

The Winning Poker Network still has a ways to go before its software can be spoken of in the same breath as PokerStars or Full Tilt, but it’s far from the worst poker client we’ve seen. Sadly, only those using Windows machines can play; there’s no mobile or Mac-friendly software available.

Tables are resizeable at Black Chip Poker, and you can play at as many as 40 of them at once. Preferred seating, four-color deck, auto buyin and top-up, and most of the other features you’d expect from modern poker software are present. There’s a HH viewer as well as a graphical replayer integrated into the client. Despite the absence of a few standard elements, like player avatars and sound volume controls, the BlackChip Poker software package is quite nice and well-rounded.

Constant excitement and action awaits you at Black Chip Poker as long as you don’t reside in Malaysia, Turkey, Spain, France, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq or Iran. Join up today by following our links, and play your favorite poker games without delay!
