You have 60 days from the time of your first deposit to earn as much of this bonus as you can.
Americas Cardoom uses weighted contributed rake calculations for the purposes of assigning Award Points in cash games. This means that the amount of rake you’re credited with paying will depend upon your proportional contribution to the total pot size.
For example, let’s suppose you, the small blind and the big blind each put $10 into the pot preflop during a specific hand, and all the other players folded. You go all-in on the flop for $50, the small blind folds, and the big blind calls. The pot size is therefore $130, which is more than enough for the rake to be capped at $3. In fact, the rake would be capped at a pot size of $60, which means that only the first $60 of total contributions to the pot count for the purposes of attributing weighted rake. This is divided up among the players as follows:
You: Put in $25 of the first $60 in the pot = 0.4167 of the money * $3 rake = $1.25 rake * 5.5 points/$1 rake = 6.875 points generated
Small blind: Put in $10 of the first $60 in the pot = 0.1667 of the money * $3 rake = $0.50 rake * 5.5 points/$1 rake = 2.75 points generated
Big blind: Put in $25 of the first $60 in the pot = 0.4167 of the money * $3 rake = $1.25 rake * 5.5 points/$1 rake = 6.875 points generated
Adding up these numbers (6.875 + 2.75 + 6.875), we get a total of 16.5 Award Points issued in the hand, which is in alignment with the rate of 5.5 points per dollar raked.
