World Series of Poker Qualifications
A great thing about online poker is the myriad of ways that the internet poker sites can provide their customers with opportunities to garner those fantastic and expensive seats to World Class live poker vents like the World Series of Poker at a fraction of the cost. Win a big satellite [or play your way in by winning several] and the next thing you know, there is a seat with your name on it in a 5 Star hotel and casino into a huge tournament where multi-million dollar prizepools are awaiting you at the final table.
Certainly, those players with the cash on hand can just walk into the venue and pay for a seat, but how many average poker players can do this? That is where the online satellites come in. For as little a $1 [or nothing if you manage to participate and win a seat through a freeroll], you could be well on your way to the final table of a major event.
The offers are truly astounding. I’ve combed the internet sites and in my estimation, these 8 sites and platforms are the best opportunity to winning your seat to the 2010 World Series of Poker.
PokerStars ranks at the top simply because they are the largest online poker site on the internet. The satellites to their $700 – 10 Packages Guarantee Qualifier are all direct entry and don’t require a lot of steps to get into this main qualifier. You could certainly go that route through their Steps tournaments and then use a Step 5 ticket as your entry fee. However, players on big or small bankrolls will enjoy the benefits of the plethora of satellite options available.
PokerStars’ $700 Qualifier, which guarantees 10 seats per qualifier, runs each week at 2:30PM on Saturdays and 7:00PM on Sundays EST. These start times ensure that most people will have a chance to play for a seat to the 2010 World Series of Poker.
