Tiger Gaming Software
The software at Tiger Gaming has a number of features that work well.
The tables themselves are among the most visually pleasant in the
online industry. No sharp or bright colors which tend to put strain on
the eyes after long session exposure. The tables have a faded
green-felt look with players identified as grayish placards sitting
upon tan chairs on a lighter tan carpet. Cardbacks are purplish and go
well to keep the visual impact down. Action is fast as the playing
software is very crisp. Player note function provides ample space, but
unfortunately, the noteboxes don't have an automatic text wrap-around
feature. Players are allowed to use four-color decks, and have a few
options for playing card visuals. The on-table statistics window is
nicely laid out and informative.
The main menu bar has a variety of information which is well laid out.
One concern is that the cashiering screen is not an integral part of
the main menu software, and is available only through Tiger Gaming's
webpages. The main menu software has all of the pertinent information
needed [players seeing flop, average pot size] for table selection to
be informative, but the tournament menus are extremely poor. Rather
than have all of the tournament statuses in one menu, they are
sub-divided into four menus: Announced, Registering, Running and
Completed. Also, SnGs and MTTs are commingled on the same screens
making navigation that much more difficult. There is very little
information provided on the menus themselves aside from number of
players registered, buy-in amounts and the tournament number. Players
need to click on each tournament offered to find out the start time and
date, whether the tournament is NL or FL, whether rebuys and add-ons
are allowed and whether the tournament is guaranteed.

Tiger Gaming Games
Tiger Gaming offers a wide variety of games to choose from.
Texas Hold'em is by far the biggest draw. Fixed limits range from
$0.10/$0.20 to $50/$100, with the majority at $2/$4 at below. No-limit
is offered in buy-ins from NL5 to NL1000, with games as high as NL200
seeing consistent action. Pot-limit is offered only in the highest
limits of PL1000 and PL2500.
Although Tiger Gaming offers Omaha and 7-Card Stud, traffic in these
poker alternatives is virtually non-existent. Tiger Gaming also offers
Guts, Big2, Chinese Poker and Pan, but the traffic here is usually
relegated to one small limit game.
MTTs and SnGs are offered around the clock. The SnG buy-ins range from
$1+$0.15 to $30+$3, and are of the heads-up, 6-max and 10 player
varieties. MTTs are all scheduled for the same time daily and this
schedule is available from the main menu Help section of the toolbar.
Buy-ins run from $1+$0.10 to $20+$2, All SnGs and MTTs are NL Texas
Holdem.

Piscivorous Discretionary Tiger Gaming Bonus Rating
Both
tournaments/SnGs and cash games clear bonuses at about an 83% rakeback
pace. Problem is that traffic is a bit on the low side and so the
possibilities of multi-tabling or finding enough tournaments to help
clear the quite large bonus are not presented for the seasoned bonus
chaser.
With a 45 day, lump sum, clearance window, my advice to would-be bonus
chasers is to make a small deposit for the initial and reload bonuses,
so that they are attainable within the window of opportunity. Makiing
too big a deposit at Tiger Gaming and being unable to clear their bonus
would be counterproductive.
