Co-Author of the recently published, 'Poker Mindset' poker Psychology book,, Ian 'Piemaster' Taylor is from London UK and has been playing poker seriously for two years and socially for a number of years before that. Mainly a limit specialist who has enjoyed success at levels up to and including 5/10 and has also dabbled in No-Limit and tournament hold'em as well as Omaha. Barry Carter comes to ITH with previous columnist experience for a pair of poker print outlets in the United Kingdom: World Poker Tour Magazine and Online Gambler. Upon his addition to the ITH team in September of 2006, Carter had published some 30 articles for each of the aforementioned publications. He now works part-time for both outlets, while also dedicating time to a blossoming poker playing career. He characterizes himself as a good player, but "a better teacher" - and looks forward to contributing to, as well as learning from, the ITH community.

Ryan Peck hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and comes to ITH with a background in sports journalism and broadcasting. Prior to joining the ITH team, he worked for 17 months as a sports editor for a pair of weekly newspapers in the metro Atlanta area. As a college student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Ryan served as a play-by-play/color analyst for the Georgia Tech baseball team during the 2004 college baseball season for 91.1 FM in Atlanta. He joins ITH with a strong interest in online poker, and looks forward to delivering the best coverage possible as ITH continues to grow on a worldwide scale.

Troy's earliest poker memory is from the eighth grade when he lost a $30 pot to some high school kids in an unfortunate Acey-Deucey incident. He didn't have the cash to pay the pot, but was thankfully fronted by a friend who didn't charge any juice. He has since learned about the skill games and has played on-line Hold 'Em since the times when 12,000 players on Party Poker was considered a really busy night. Troy mostly plays Sit-n-Go tournaments and Multi-table events, but lurks daily in the limit discussions on ITH as he hopes to improve that side of his game.
