Welcome to ITH!
Do you already have a Party Poker account? If so, you can use ITH200 for a reload bonus. If not, you probably ought to consider using the ITH Free Gift Offer to start, and then see if you can do a reload after you do the initial deposit bonus (which is better than this reload).
If this does not answer your question, ask it again - we try to be a helpful bunch!

The Luckiest Player in Poker: The Antithesis of a Bad-Beat Story Written Friday, December 22nd by Matthew Hilger
Every month I divulge some of the strategies that I have learned about this game. This month, I would like to share a secret that most people don't know: I am the luckiest player in poker.
It's true. I can't believe how often I get lucky at the poker table. Just recently I was playing in a tournament against other members of my website, www.InternetTexasHoldem.com. The flop came Jh10h8c. A player bet about two-thirds of the pot and I moved all in with the KhQc. I was rather short-stacked and needed to make a move. The button called, and I instantly knew that I was in trouble. He showed the Ah9h. Not only did he have the best hand, but he also had the best draw. The turn was a 7, giving him a straight. But a 9 hit the river and I had the nuts. I have such great luck! I took that pot and went on to win the tournament.

The sixth article in a series: Playing at Limits Too High in Relation to Their Bankroll | The sixth article in a series by Matthew Hilger
This is the sixth article in a series called Top 10 Mistakes of Online Players. The mistakes are not given in any particular order. Most of the mistakes apply to live play also although two or three of them are most applicable to online play. So far we have discussed the following mistakes:
#1: Playing Too Many Starting Hands and
#2: Drawing To Outs That Won’t Help You Win
#3: Miscalculating Odds with Two Cards to Come
#4: Calling Raises Too Often on the Turn
#5: Automatically Betting or Raising the River When They Think They Have the Best Hand
This leads us into our next common mistake… Mistake #6: Playing at Limits Too High in Relation to Their Bankroll.
If a good poker player who normally wins one big bet an hour plays 100 hours of $2-$4, he could win as much as $2,000, but once in a blue moon he might lose $1,000. This same player could play 1400 hours and still only break even. Given any time below that, he could possibly lose despite the fact that he is a proven winner in the long-term. Read More |

Absolute Poker Overall Rating
| 8.51/10 |
 |
Absolute Poker accepts players from the United States.
Absolute Poker has deep, consistent bonuses. It is by far the most bonus-friendly site on the internet. However, this has had a detrimental effect on the perception of many players about Absolute Poker. The plethora of bonuses has attracted a very tight playing clientele, making it's fullring tables virtual rock gardens and not bonuschasing friendly. Absolute Poker does have consistent and good short-handed play as well as decent NL/PL traffic. Their tournaments and SnGs are top-notch. Absolute Poker has a very good VIP Program and a well-stocked online store with many items to choose from.

A Christmas Story
Twas the night before Christmas And all through the house Not a hand would hold up Thanks to that no good, no fold-em, idiot louse!
His stacks grew higher Mine waned towards the felt Now this S.O.B. has put me on TILT!
"CHIPS" cried the dealer As I fumbled for cash We were at war Me and this little, river rat, 2-6 offsuit playing ASS!
When what to my wandering eyes should appear? But a pocket full of aces to bring me good cheer! "RAISE" called the maniac, "RE-RAISE" I cried "CAP" he hissed, with all hands still alive.
An 8-way pot at limits 6 and 12 Deeper into this story we shall now delve... I flopped my Ace, this much is true But little did I know he was holding two-two.
Heads up betting had me calling "All-In" But there was no doubt that the best hand would win! A two on the flop gave me no dismay I was busily counting chips that would soon come my way.
The board paired on fourth street, giving me the nuts I assumed And turned over my Aces for his eyes to consume. He paused just a moment before "2!!" he did call... And Miraculously.....................................................the case deuce on the river did fall
"Nice Catch" I muttered, editing my initial reply Where I'd tell this guy off, instead yelled "REBUY!" While up in chips with these massive stacks Maniac forgot to protect them and eventually gave them all back.
Within three hours I heard him mutter "all-in" Head hung, defeated, he'd committed a poker sin I raised on the button for "protection" (I lied) Just wanted it heads up to restore my pride.
Burning and turning the board soon displayed I'd caught an ace on the river to his dismay. As he turned to go, I said (rather snobby)
"Merry Christmas! Oh and my book is for sale in the lobby!"
