Turn: 10 of Diamonds (3.2 BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls

River: 6 of Diamonds (7.2 BB, 2 players)

The flop peel is probably pretty close as villains raising UTG but with the backdoors and the fact he's quite laggy I peel here. I just check call the turn and let him fire off with unimproved A high type hands or the smaller pairs. The pot's not big and I see more value in just inducing from worse hands. If he checks through the turn then I'd just bet the river and expect to be called by pretty much any A high. If the river is a Q or K then I lean towards check fold if he's checked through the turn as it would take a very particular opponent to bet with a worse hand in that spot.

Thinking about it I may even check call the turn and donk the river on a blank as any A high is looking you up.

I don't really like the turn check-raise. A 25% PFR suggest a player capable of some logical though, so he is capable of making value-checks. He probably checks behind some Ax and weak pairs. So when he bets this turn, it's either with a better hand, or with a bluff he can fold easily. You are facing a much stronger range here compared to what range you face on the flop. I just don't see a check-raise being profitable here. There are just not many worse hand he is betting this turn with, and calling down your check-raise. In general, I rarely check-raise 2nd pair on the turn.

yeah, I didn´t like the turn check/raise either.

I guess check/call turn and donk/fold river is best. (I think we can fold the river since we´re repping trip sixes)
