This is a strange line for villian. He opens and then check calls on the flop and then check raises the turn. How does the three help him? Did he open with threes, float the flop and then hit his 2 outer on the turn? Then he overbets a blank on the river. Very weird.
Did he open with something like A6? 76? I'd expect to see a much more passive line if he had 66 and flopped quads.
Without a read I think I'd fold this although I know there is going to be some opinions to the contrary.

I think I'm folding this pre-flop. It looks like a 7BB raise from an early player which may mean my hand is already in big trouble. I'd only call a very loose player with this here.
There's little danger post-flop so it might be an idea to check one of the first two streets. I think checking the turn might be good as we are likely only in a tie at best. If villain is a bit loose and plays KQ or less here then why no flop bet? If villain has JJ then he might fold here but call on the river. Little danger against JJ too.
I'm folding on the river. I wouldn't be surprised to see QQ here.
