OK, so I'm not playing and not gonna have a ton of time to play, but I want a bit of extra income. So, here's what I'm going to do during the rest of Fall semester:
10 hours/week of Multi-tabling 100NL FR from October 2nd to December 31st.
Goals:
140 hours of play
126,000 hands
$5,000 in winnings
Post at least one hand from every session
All of this should be fairly easy to accomplish, hopefully I'll be able to update this thread after every session. I'll have 2-3 weeks off at the end of December so even if I'm behind I'll be able to get it done at the end. |

Out of curiousity .. whats your full ring PT stats for VPIP / PFR ?
Im trying out a new way of playing full ring ... early days so far ... i might post my stats after 10k hands and get some feed back .. |

Wow, Toro. That's impressive.
If my math is correct, you'd have to play 15 tables at once (assuming 60 hands per hour at FR).
Even in the relatively straightforward ABC world of FR, I'd find that difficult.
Good luck. |

Well, I've played upto 18 tables at a time and my winrate is around 2.8ptbb/100 over like 500k hands. I just lowballed everything just to not stress about meeting the goals. I should also make ~$675 in FPPs but that won't be included in the winnings part.

Technically yes. However, I don't have the time-blocks to play MTTs so NL cash is the way I'm going. |

| you guys are free to tell me I played these hands retarded. In fact, I'll be happy to learn that I did as long as you tell me why. I'm not gonna be giving any info on opponents cause I mostly don't have too much info when I make the decisions. |

This was a really swingy session I think I was down 2 buyins at one point, and was really running pretty bad. Then things just kinda turned around. I started out playing quite a bit looser than I typically do, after a while though I kinda settled in.

Pretty vanilla session, I was playing quite a bit tighter than yesterday. It was a tad swingy but nothing crazy. My stats are actually quite different than they normally are, I don't think it really means anything though.
There weren't too many interesting hands. Here's probably the biggest pot that I saw in this session:

Session 1 hand 2:
What was your plan if villan shoved on the river after that C/R? Isn't there alot of danger in C/Ring the river? I think villans call down range is Ax & meakly played 2pairs. Weaker hands are probably going to shove/fold and stronger hands will shove putting us in a tough spot. Prefop and flop pretty standard, and I like your line on the turn to extract value from bluffs but i'm a bit iffy on the river as I think we have to fold to a shove most of the time.
Session 3 hand 1:
I raise on the flop here almost always. Alot of small pp and small sc have missed that flop which is good news with all of this limp/calling preflop. We have a decent hand but alot of turn cards are going to reduce the value.
Turn is fine we're 1:3 to suck-out on what is probably a straight. And the pot odds are 1:5 |

It's a raise/fold line. The thing is you're never getting 4-bet here by a worse hand. If the guy has absolutely nothing and was going to bluff he'd probably be betting quite a bit more on the turn/river to try to get me off my hand. The board is exceptionally dry here. The only plausible 2-pair hand assuming this guy is normal is AJ (J8 also plausible but guys at 100NL don't call with it too much). Sets are also pretty unlikely and there were no draws. So I figured it was worth the c/r.
Why didn't I just bet the river? I'll take that line sometimes, after his really small turn bet it's pretty obvious that he's not overly strong and there's a good chance that he's betting something completely worthless with the intention of getting me to fold - but is afraid to put in a lot of $$. So the check on the river induces a bluff or gets him to value bet a worse hand - giving me a chance to extract more $$ via a c/r (since I'm likely far ahead here).

I find it very rare that someone leads into the PFR in a multi-way pot on this kind of board without having an overpair beat. If I raise here I think I'm hoping for everyone to fold while putting in a large portion of my stack. I don't really like my play either, but I really have no idea what the optimal play is.
Folding the turn is out of the question even if you're getting 1:1, since you'll see 2-pair/sets as often as straights. |

Session 4
Total Hours: 1.25
MT ratio: 15.16
Total Hands: 1,374
Total $$ won: $101.00
Biggest overall loser: J9s
Biggest overall winner: K5o
Won a bunch at the start than lost a few big hands to land at where I finished. There was a particular fun situation where there was a guy playing at 2-4 of the same tables as me and kept popping me (he did it like 4 times in 100 hands or so which is ridiculous). So I started playing around with him and took around half a buyin off of him from these situations.
I didn't really win any huge hands, biggest one was only a net of +$70 (the K5o) which I'll post.
A few interesting hands:
Hand 1
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero (BB) ($121.20)
UTG ($10.50)
MP1 ($101.40)
MP2 ($93.20)
CO ($115.75)
Button ($60.85)
SB ($37.65)
Preflop: Hero is BB with ,
4 folds, Button raises to $3, 1 fold, Hero calls $2
Flop: ($6.50) , , (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $4, Hero raises to $12, Button calls $8
Turn: ($30.50) (2 players)
Hero bets $10, Button calls $10
River: ($50.50) (2 players)
Hero bets $36, 1 fold
Total pot: $50.50 | Rake: $2.45
Preflop isn't standard but I like the way I played it post-flop, I'll also bet that I got him to fold a decent flush.
Hand 2
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero (BB) ($100)
UTG ($102.50)
UTG+1 ($104.70)
MP1 ($129.05)
MP2 ($101.80)
CO ($72.95)
Button ($43.65)
SB ($118.90)
Preflop: Hero is BB with ,
6 folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero raises to $4, SB calls $3
Flop: ($ , , (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, SB calls $5
Turn: ($1 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $20, Hero calls $10
River: ($5 (2 players)
SB bets $44, Hero calls $44
Total pot: $146 | Rake: $3
A few orbits later villian said something like "you just waste rake when you do that" when the same sort of situation happened PF, which I don't think is true for various reasons.
% of Goal completed:
Total Hands: 7,786/126k (6.18%)
Total Hours: 7.48/140 (5.34%)
Total Won: $676/$5,000 (13.52%)
Total WR: 4.34BB/100
Total HR: $90.33/hour
Graph for sessions 3+4:
I'm running pretty bad according to Pokerev, $289 below equity over the entire sample - which is apparently in the 18th percentile I like this new norm curve feature though. |

| Session 4, hand 1-what was your range on button? The river card was a decent bluffing card, but from what the opponent could put you on, I don't understand why he would call the turn and fold the river. |
