I'm in the big blind and get a free flop with a mediocre hand. Should I keep on playing? I guess my fold is good, especially because of Villain1 who called a bet and raise. Someone must have hit the flop.
But what if only Villain2 was around (a very loose aggressive player) and reraised me?
Villain1 is at seat 1 with 900.
seat2 is at seat 2 with 790.
Villain2 is at seat 3 with 3,445.
Hero is at seat 5 with 2,990.
seat8 is at seat 8 with 950.
seat9 is at seat 9 with 925.
The dealer is seat 2.
Villain2 posts a blind of 15.
Hero posts a blind of 30.
(Hero is dealt 9d Jh.)
Pre-flop:
seat8 folds.
seat9 folds.
Villain1 calls for 30.
seat2 calls for 30.
Villain2 calls for 15.
Hero checks.
The flop comes
7d 5d 9c.
Villain2 bets 30.
Hero raises 90.
Villain1 calls for 120.
seat2 folds.
Villain2 raises 480.
Hero folds.
Villain1 goes all-in for 750.
Villain2 calls for 270.
Showdown:
Villain2 shows: 6d 9s
9c 9s 7d 6d 5d
A pair of Nines
Villain1 shows: 2d Ad
Ad 9c 7d 5d 2d
Ace high
The turn comes Qc.
The river comes 7h.
Villain2 shows: 6d 9s
9c 9s 7d 7h Qc
Two Pair, Nines and Sevens
Villain1 shows: 2d Ad
7d 7h Ad Qc 9c
A pair of Sevens
Villain2 wins pot (1,980).
For who wants to know: Villain 2 is the cut off in the hand I posted a few minutes earlier.

I'd probably fold to the original bet, just not much to be had if your hand is good, there's a player yet to act, and half the deck will improve someone on the turn/river. As played, I definitely give up to the call-behind/3-bet.
