Page 186 From the chart provided:
Two suited cards hitting a flush .008 (Probability) 124 to 1 (Odds)
The math is provided at the bottom of this page.
Page 18 we are shown how to multiply fractions. The example is 11/50 x 10/49 x 10/48 with the answer being .0084
Using this math the answer is 118 to 1
From Internet Texas Holdem page 31"common odds that can be helpful or just interesting to know:"
. Floping a flush when holding two suits 118 to 1
The only reason page 186 hit me as strange as I had memorized the 118 to 1 and told my spouse that number numerous times when talking about winning flush hands in sessions I had played.
The difference comes in whether or not we convert to odds using .008 or .0084.
I didn't know if you knew about having this difference in numbers in your 2 books.

Yeah, this presented a problem for me. How many decimals do I really want to show? .008 seems more than sufficient. But if I show .008 - what odds do I show? The odds based on .008 or the actual odds? Either way I lose. If I show 124 to 1 that really isn't correct, but if I show 118 to 1 the odds don't correspond to the probability I have listed.
Don't really know the answer. Maybe on page 18 I should put it to 3 decimals and then add a footnote that the actual true odds would be 118 to 1.
