The concept in The Poker Tournament Formula that causes me the most trouble is the Wolf Pack Instinct (p 245). Given that the goal of a tournament is to win all the chips, I don't understand the theory of calling and letting others into the pot, rather than isolating with a good hand and giving yourself a greater chance of winning those chips: the only time I've considered such a play in the past is either at a final table or in a satellite.
