I have 5 books on PLO High.
From best to worst in my opinion:
1. How Good Is Your Pot-Limit Omaha? (Reuben)
2. Secrets Of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha (Slotbloom)
3. Omaha Poker (Ciaffone)
4. Pot-Limit and No-Limit Poker (Ciaffone/Reuben)
5. Super System 2 (Berman)
Just go with 1 and 2 if you want books that you will re-read and study. 3 is the best book for a beginner. 4 and 5 have some useful information but they lack depth. |

| I'd try Chip Reese section in Super System for 7 card stud, once you have that down 7 card stud for advanced players is the best work out there on the game. |

| I've just bought Super System 2,but there's only Stud8 in there,will it be a waste owning both 1 and 2? |

| Hmmm, in my opinion beyond the 7 card stud section ( which is the best primer out there in my opinion and may actually be worth the price of the book alone ) there isnt much of value in Super System if you have Super System 2 already. So i guess its a judgement call, alternatively Roy West's book is supposed to be ok, though i cant comment as i havent read it. |

Ashley Adams' Stud book is very good. Sklansky's is good as well, but more geared towards high limit games with really good players, which probably hardly even exists anymore for stud.

I absolutely agree. Adams' book is a very good starter book for Stud. It is especially relevant for the lower limits. I use this book as a baseline for most of my online stud play and consistently profit at the .50/1 and 1/2 limits. As also noted, any serious 7 card stud player would be remiss not to read Chip Reese's section on stud in Super System. He is often regarded as the best stud player of all time. I'd recommend starting with the Adams book, play some and get an understanding for the game, and then read Sklansky and Reese. |

As far as "Bibles" go:
Omaha High: Secrets of Professional Pot Limit Omaha by Rolf Slotboom
7 Card Stud: 7 Card Stud For Advanced Players by David Sklansky & Co. |
