There is a local game I may attend sometime which features "Tahoe" as one of the games. This is actually the same as what I have heard called "Lazy Pineapple" - you get 3 hole cards, never have to discard any of them, but can use 0, 1, or 2 of them with the 5 board cards (like you can in holdem). Played hilo with an 8 qualifier similar to Omaha 8.
Not sure what kind of strategy I should use for this, or even completely sure what a good starting hand would be. I have played some Crazy Pineapple hilo - basically the same as this game except you discard one after the flop, and was not sure what I should be looking for there either.
Any strategy online? Or even any helpful hints from anyone who as played this?
