I've got the trial version and all I want to do is view that graph that you always see people post on forums to show their lifetime winrate.
The top would be something like "All levels across all sites", the y-axis is running tot. $ won and the x-axis is hands.
This should be extremely basic but I can't figure out how to generate it for the life of me. |

| The graphs most people post use Poker Patterns, but you can't get that any more. What I think you want is Poker Grapher |

Thanks.
So I take it this means that there is no way to have PT generate a graph of your overall play ($ won as a function of hands played) on its own? Seems like a pretty glaring omission. |

| Yeah PT doesn't have graphing abilities... it is all done with add-on software. |

1 more quick newb question:
Under the "misc stats" tab my total times/saw flop/and went to showdown numbers are almost equal across all hand types and I DONT have the "show only hands that were not folded" box checked. This is over almost 1K hands.
Shouldn't the total times be much higher than the saw flop which should in turn be much higher than the went to SD, especially for something like high card?
It seems to only be registering the hands that I see showdown with for some reason, but I saw another players who had a lot of hands and his had much higher numbers in the total hands than the other columns moving to the right, and included mostly hands that were folded.
Just as an example in case its not clear, here is my high card column after ~900 hands of $25 NL: total times: 2 saw flop:2 folded flop:0 folded turn:0 folded river:0 went to SD: 2
For 1 pair its: 15/14/1/0/0/13
My totals are: 36/34/1/0/0/30 for all hands?
This is not possible right? |

| depends on the site played I think. On pokerstars the numbers are the same if that box is checked or not, but on other sites the numbers change. |

| Thanks, figuring out PT is almost as complicated as learning how to play poker. |

Am I missing something or is this not incorrect?
Get all the hands you want to graph listed under the "Game Notes" tab.
Above the list of hands there is a set of buttons, viz. [s] [p] [r] [g] [g]
The two "g's" are the graphing buttons. The first will graph every hand, the second will graph across all hands using a specified number of graph points that you specify.
Alternately you can do something very similar in the session notes tab. |

I haven't used PT for about a year... I don't remember there being a 'g' option there. I'm pretty sure there were no graphing capabilities when I used to used it.
Perhaps I should not answer anymore PT questions |

Very nice, I don't know how I missed that. I had been doing somethign similiar under the sessions tab but was never getting exactly what I wanted under that tab. |

The graphing facility has been there for quite a while. A year, maybe not.
