Blinds 10/20k. My stack circa 260k first to act 9 handed. 80ish runners left.
9/10h I raise to 60k first to act. 600k stack in mid pos makes it an additional 75k to go. In the end I fold leaving myself 10 times bb.
Should I have folded pf, seen the flop and called his raise? or pushed and gambled? I had him on an overpair..
In hindsight I prefer either pushin first to act or folding.
Im comfortable maybe pushing this suited connector over the top of an early raiser with 13 times bb left but I must admit getting myself into a pickle on this one !!!
Even in late pos, you have an awkward stack for a 3bb raise. If called a cont bet will commit you to the pot. If reraised i think i'll have to fold because you don't have the implied odds needed. If i am playing I will probably just push it in. But only from late. In ep I think I fold.

What are the antes at this stage? With 10K-20K blinds I would assume they are 1-2K?? How has the table been playing and where is the bubble in this tournament?
Short any other information, this is an EP fold and a LP shove for me. If there are 1-2K antes, then the pot is 20% of your stack or more. It's attractive, but there's no real room for post-flop play, so I would only shove and not from EP unless the table's playing tight.
If you push after the reraise its about 200 to win 550k which is about 35.8% with ante's its even less you got to make a move with those odds but your opponents knows this he reraises so small so his range could be very strong.
You can raise 4/5 bb preflop over 33% preflop and commit yourself to whatever even with 3bb raise your almost committed.

With just over 10 BB's in my stack I'm folding this hand UTG. The hand has a lot of big pot potential with getting straights and flushes but because I have a small stack I am unable to win big pots. I would only raise UTG with this hand under special circumstances.
After the big stack re-raises then it is an easy fold. Any push will be called by a better hand and I have not a lot left to play a flop with. I'm pushing with JJ+AK+ against anyone but may lower this to 99+ AQ+ against certain opponents.
I wouldn't be using this hand to re-raise an UTG player either unless there is a good read that I'll get a lot of folds. It can be a good hand to re-raise an MP player though under the right circumstances.
