I had a day off last week and had the opportunity to go to the local Barnes and Noble and Borders. I went to BN first and noticed that the area where they had the poker books wasn't there. Must have moved I thought. I proceeded to walk the store and found they no longer carry any poker books. very strange.
I then was over at Borders and found the same phenomenon. Anyone else notice this in their local market?
I buy mostly online but I do occasionally but brick and mortar if the price is right. It seemed rather strange to me to completely eliminate the section. I can certainly understand reducing the inventory to those books that are best sellers in the category but a complete elimination seems a little odd to me. |

| Strange observation given that you're in California. Maybe they were just rearranging stuff and by coincidence the Borders and the Barnes and NObles in your area just happened to be doing it at the same time. |

I was in the Borders nearest me and there was no change. I got a fright when I went to a Borders in the suburbs. I thought the gaming section was gone, but it had just been moved.
I still have not seen any copies of Winning Poker Tournaments. |

I was at the Barnes and Noble nearest my house a couple of days ago and the gaming section has been moved and shrunk down.
Still no sign of Winning Poker Tournaments at any of the stores I frequent. You would think there would be a copy somewhere in the area given it is the home region of one of the authors. |

You can go here and enter your zip code to find where different books are stocked at Barnes and Noble. I think we have about 20% coverage right now at Barnes and Noble, which I hope will increase once they've "tested" the market with the book.

Borders has a similar search feature, but it seems that if Borders does not have the book in stock, there is no search button accessible. |
