Well villain was short of chips pre-flop but only called and not pushed. I think drawing hands like 78 would be very unlikely here so that's not good news. Indeed, if villain planned the stop n go then it is still likely he had something pre-flop to use for this. A9 or less is possible I suppose or even worse if he had decided to go for the bluff pre-flop. I think it is more likely he had a legit hand pre-flop and if so then Hero is in bad shape.
If villain had a queen then he might go for the check-raise to win more chips but instead he pushed immediately. It might be a bluff that saw this board as a good one to bluff on but I think more likely it is a middleish pair that worried about giving a free card; 77 or 88.
I'm going to fold here as even some bluffs like AJ are ahead.

| I don't think you're ahead of many hands here. The typical hands that would pull a stop-n-go here would be low-med PPs and perhaps something like AJ/AQ. Even if he pulled it with something like KQ/QJ, you're now behind on the flop. Gotta let this one go. |

| At this level, I'm folding A 10 UTG +1 most of the time. Am I in the wrong here? |

I think this is an automatic raise here. Even early in a tourney, i would probably still raise here. |

I like the raise pre-flop.
On the flop, the over card, over middle card, and two back door draws are probably not getting the right odds at 2.4-1. Unfortunately, I'm probably calling as I would give the bluff a bigger precentage than most (and I'm not good at laying the hand down).
I probably call and curse myself. |

It's an 8 handed table so Harrington would call this more like middle position. He would also suggest raising looser with short stacks. I think HOH would suggest this is a raise here.
I'm raising too although I don't like AT much and understand if anyone wants to fold.

| Yeah. I'm not saying folding AT is bad here. I'm just saying i prefer a raise. |
