I apologize for what will look like a newb question, but what is the overall status and direction of the game for us in the states?

I've been playing a bit lately after much time off, and only have some money still on Pokerstars - rest of my BR is in the bank. Came here to check on whether or not there were viable bonus opportunities and what was working for transfers. Looked like the forum was (relatively) dead, very little activity in the bonus forum, etc. Then read what I could on funding options, Bull's writeup on the dismal state of affairs for transfers, etc. Oops - not good.

Then, see all the issues with cash-outs, etc. and again, the extraordinary lack of the "old' traffic and discussion from the old-time US folks.

So, should I be trying to pull out the remaining money I've got on Stars rather than actually looking for ways to move more into the online arena? Is there really much in the way of good options left for play? Peripherally, has the play loosened up more now that so many folks have dropped off the scene? I miss those old days of Crypto-love....

Oh - and hi again to all you I've enjoyed hanging out with in the past!!! Special shout-out to Taz - I still appreciate your help in winter '07 - Thanks again! Smile

As a corollary to your questions, I wonder what people think about the subscription based sites (ClubWPT, Spade Club, ClubUBT, and Club Bluff), the outlook for these type of sites, and their potential.

Hiya George.

Pokerstars and FTP are still rocking for me.

If you have money on BoDog you need to read the recent thread about them.
