Hi Mathew I love your book so far, I'm only at the raising check/raise chapter.
anyways i was wondering what to do with a starting hand that your chart calls for a call to unraised pot and a fold to raised pot, if i call and then someone raises?
for example: I have 99 in middle position i call then someone raises after me, and the chart tells me to fold to a raised pot, but now i have money in

Welcome to the forums!
The general rule is that if you are correct to call when the action first gets to you and it is raised after you call, you should call if it is only one more bet when it gets back to you.
In your 99 example - you should call. The raised/unraised columns in the charts refer to the action when it gets to you the first time.
Now if there is a raise AND a reraise before it gets back to you, you have to think harder about whether you should play the hand. For 2 more bets, it is not an automatic call.

Mahdrek, welcome to the Forum. I do explain this at the bottom of page 80. I recognize that there is quite a lot of material in the book so I need to find some ways to make some of the concepts that people have missed stand out more within the text. This is one of those concepts as I have been asked many times this same question - I will try and make it stand out more whenever I get around to a 2nd edition.
