I've seen in quite a few threads that the recommended SnG bankroll is about 30 buy-ins. Does anyone know how I can calculate this? What ROI% or ITM% does it refer to?

It means your bankroll should be large enough to afford 30 buy-ins Smile

It can be more, or less, depends how cautious you are. As long as your not playing with 'scared money' you're fine.

30 buy-ins can't be the right bankroll for everyone. It must depend on the player's performance. So my question is: would someone by any chance know of a way of calculating the bankroll for a certain SnG limit based on the quality of the player?
