ok I have been playing poker (real money)for about 8months now and have been playing mostly $10NL FR and at times $25NL and $50N FR. my earnings are pretty high at $10NL something like 20BB/100 and since I can play on 4 tables at once I pretty much make $3-6/hour on a regular bases. I also make money at the $25/50NL but since I usually play at 1 or max maybe 2 tables at once, when I calculate its no where near my earnings at $10NL. I have also read that at the higher levels a winning player can expect a 1-3BB/100 so this means I will be better off MTT at 10NL unless I want to move upto at least 1-2 or even 2-4 to be where I am now or go to 3/6 to make a profit. or should I just 6table it and take on less risk and the same reward???? it makes you think exactly how much of a bankroll and how high of stakes you need to play to become a pro and make a living out of this!!!

Is hourly rate important to you? Is $6/hour satisfactory? If so, then there is a good argument for keeping things as they are.
You may want to move up limits to improve your game. But this does not necessarily mean you can improve your hourly rate, nor does it guarantee profit at all!
Using bankroll strategy, traditionally, means you can't withdraw any of your winnings. Otherwise, you will never reach a point where your bankroll dictates that you can move up limits.
If making 'money' is important to you, as opposed to building your BR and improving your game, then I suggest you find a limit where you are happy, and play that. You needn't worry about a BR, just make sure you have enough $$ so you are unlikely to need to reload.
