This is a follow-up to jflecther's proposal that we open SharkDAQ up to $55 and $109 buy-in freezeout MTTs. The rules would otherwise be unchanged, expect that we would allow runners to buy into these tourneys as well as the 100k and the Million.

I am proposing that we retain the 5% tax. I've looked at the prize pools and don't believe that the tax has significant effect on the split. Using the numbers posted in the main DAQ thread, the worst case for a stakee taking a 50/50 split would be 11th place. In the $55 the tax would mean a $151.56 payday for 11th instead of a $168.40 payday on a straight split. A first place finish would see roughly $13,600 not subject to the tax and $340 subject to the tax. Even a 6th place finish would see 90% of the prize money not subject to the split. In my opinion the split will have virtually no impact on the player's bottom line -- even less than the impact in the Million because the fields are smaller and so much of the prize pool is on the final table.

Please vote "YES" to allow our stakees to play these two buy-in levels or "NO to prevent it. You will receive one vote per share held. You may vote anytime before 11:59 pm January 11th.

Yes

First time I've seen SharkDaQ. Big thread to read about it. If it did include $55 tournaments maybe even I might be able to play in the future.

Gonna read the big thread now...

I'm inclined to vote yes, but I'm concerned about the $109s. The one running now looks to have a much stronger field than the Million with much less upside. I'm much more comfortable with the $55s.

Yes.

As for the fields being stronger in the $109s, I still believe that any player approved by the DAQ committee is +ev in just about any online tourney. It's a question of how +ev.
