Nside was so kind to give me permission to use his trademark - Sharkapalooza. I am thinking of having Sharkapalooza III at my house and wanted to start gaging interest.

What is Sharkapalooza...really? An excuse to drink

When would it be? I am thinking March or April. We would pretty much have an all-day party on Saturday.

Where would it be? My house. I live north of Atlanta which is about an hour drive from the airport a very expensive taxi so I would recommend a car rental.

Why your house? I don't have to travel and I don't have to drive . Besides that, I have a great party basement complete with bar, theatre, poker table, foosball, and shuffle board so it should be a lot of fun.

Where would we stay? Unfortunately, I live kind of in the middle of nowhere. The nearest hotel is about 20 minutes away. Ciaran has volunteered to let everyone shack at his house - just kidding I could look into some type of shuttle.

What else is there to do? Atlanta is great, but realize that I live about 40 minutes from the "action" and your hotel would be about 30 minutes away.

Where are the stripclubs? Yes, Atlanta is one of the premier convention cities in the country outside of Vegas. But I live in suburban Atlanta so you'll need to take at least a 45-50 minute drive.

Some of the more useful hotels near Matthew are actually right around the corner from me, and I can manage 4-5 passengers if people need a designated driver. Trust me when I say you don't want to bunk here, though (3 kids/2 cats).

Nut/Taz/whoever, Google is your friend, a good keywords are Noel Gallagher's band (probably closest) and the world's fastest land animal.

That's not terribly far from Matthew's and won't be far from some semi-reasonable hotels. I'm well past my strip-club days, though, so no idea if it's a decent place. I'm also well removed from my clubbing days, but Buckhead is probably still the place to be for that and is a significant distance. Might work for people looking to party the night before the actual bash, though, and should be reasonably accessible via Marta from the airport with cheaper rental car options than the airport will have.
