I probably would have check/raised the flop.

As played, I'm not folding here. Sure I'll be behind to 9T and AT some of the time, but even if so, I still have outs. No way am I folding at this point.

Thanks guys. You'll be happy to hear I sprained my finger Smile

cowboy, I thought about check-raising the flop, then decided a bet might get the money in quicker, was hoping for a raise from a draw, TP or 2pr hand.

I prefer a lead. With a king and jack out there, and flush draw, you're more likely to get a call. If you check-raise it screams out a monster. If you lead, villain may think you could just be leading out with a king or a jack. So villian might think his whatever is good.

I think I'd call this quickly.

Well, I usually think about it a bit first but any higher set might have raised pre-flop and if JJ did limp pre-flop then it might have re-raised the flop. AT doesn't make much sense unless it is suited with 2 hearts, possible though.

The re-raise all-in is much more consistent with a 2 pair hand: KQ or QJ maybe, or even a draw with a pair such as JT which might be of hearts.

With only a 50BB stack to start the hand I'm happy to get all my money in with a set here.

It is a bit of an awkward stack size for check-raising. I like the idea of betting the flop as it disguises the hand and makes things easier.

What happened? Did we all lose?

Lost to ATo. At the time I figured KQ,KJ,QJ outweighed AT and called. Embarrassed to say I would have folded it before, this early vs stacking off Embarassed I was fairly certain the call was the right move but wanted to double check Smile
