This may be a dumb question, but I have enough FPP points for a few entries in the million that I'd be intrested in using to stake.

Is it possible to use them to buy into events, unregister, and use the $T as stakes? Or would I need to sell the $T first? From what I've read I think I'd need to sell them...not sure if I could sell $T215 for $1 as a stake though.

I'd be fine with a 60/40 stake arrangement if there is a way to work it. This week's million should be crazy big - if anyone is interested and can help with the logistics let me know.

If you buy tourney entries with FPPs, you have to play them. I suppose, in your case, you could let someone play on your account, though.

If you play FPP sats and win an entry, you can unregister and turn them into T$. You can sell those like cash if you want, which is probably what I'd do if I just wanted to convert them. You could, I imagine, also sell them via transfer on another site (so, you transfer T$ on Stars and someone pays you on Tilt). You set the price on Stars, so you can just "give away" the T$ as well to go with your staking idea (assuming you've won the T$ first).

Also, how many is a lot? It only takes ~90K to get a WSOP buy-in IIRC.

Thanks Ciaran - for some reason I thought you could unregister from tourneys purchased with FFP's and get $T. So much for my brilliant idea Sad

Letting someone else play on my account doesn't quite seem right either. Ah well.

Not that many... around 50k I think. I'm considering the custom chipset if I can't sell them for "transferable tickets". Playing in them myself would be a waste since I really stink at tourneys.

Yeah if you buy an entry with your FPPs you get a ticket to play that tourny and not T$.

I've let others play on my account before to finish the odd tourny, Stars doesn't mind... but it's a personal choice obviously.
