So now the hearing is set for the proposed Internet Gambling Regulations. Howard Lederer and others will testify for and against. LOL if you remember I said months ago that the government wants in on taxing our online pleasure. They say they want to protect the "consumer" and make sure funds are secure. Scares me- I thought the sites and money transfer programs were doing a good job without uncle sam.
Funny that a reverend will testify how his son robbed a bank to finance his online gambling addiction. Tough being a young fish I guess.
Oh, Neteller just announced that they have a proposal before the feds to allow disbursement of the millions being held from U.S. accountholders-possibly by July 13.
Be prepared to pay a fee for playing to offset any tax and declare winnings on tax forms.

Tax forms would be next to impossible to implement. For example, in my case, we used Neteller to pay royalties, collect sales for The Poker Tutor and book store, and for my gambling winnings. So not all of the funds in my Neteller account are gambling winnings, and in fact, some of them are completely legit transactions no matter how you look at them.
