Here's the letter I am sending him today...

Monday, 16th October 2006

Dear Roy,

I purchased your Coach Rounder service the Sunday before last (8th October 2006) by my VISA Debit Card

I uploaded my Poker Room hand histories the same day

I was informed that Reports are sent to purchasers within 24 to 48 hours of them submitting their hand histories

To date, despite a number of e-mails to yourselves, I have received not one Coach Rounder Report, nor have I received any replies or acknowledgements from yourselves

I do not consider this is any way to make a good impression on your new customers

I hope I will receive my Coach Rounder Reports very soon

Either way, I trust you will contact me very shortly with a full explanation as to the extended and unnotified delays

Okay, problem resolved!

The issue is that Roy Rounder's organisation appears to fail to send you an e-mail letting you know your Coach Rounder Reports are ready

I get his Poker tips email. They seems ok but what I did find useful was his Sit and Go Shark software at http://www.sitandgoshark.com/index.html

This is not a ramp. I got the software as an offer for signing up at Party Poker. I came 2nd and 1st in the first two $6 games by following the advice and applying my VERY limited SNG knowledge. Since much improved.

Meant to send him an email telling him I liked his software and his style of advice given.

Having used for awhile now, I find it very useful - a bit like stabalizers on a bike. I also know I am about ready to stop using it.

I dont know about Coach Rounder but because of SNG Shark will look at it.

Whilst Im here is there anything like PA Hud I can use with SNG NLHE?

For a year's worth of Coach Rounder Reports, $49.95 or $99.95 isn't bad value... But are the Reports any good?

In a word, yes and no. But basically they are too brief and do not look at any particular hands, nor offer any advice on the amount of raises made

All in all I'd give it about 7 out of 10

I get the impression most people have never heard of Roy Rounder and that he is only a moderately good semi-professional or lower-ranked professional player. I believe he makes a lot more from his books and coaching services than he does from playing. I've also been told he has started his own Poker site called Red Fish

I paid the $100 for the reports, uploaded hands and get my reports the following day.
I have requested a refund twice now and have not received any answer.

I want my money back for the following reasons:

There were bugs in every report. I emailed support and Roy on every email address I could find for them, with no response from any of them.

I also had important questions regarding the report. I composed so many lengthy emails with no reply.

This really fustrated me.

Roy's 1 on 1 coaching - once in a lifetime opportunity to work with a pro on my game.

What a load of croc !!!!

What use is the "computer generated" report if he cant answer a few simple questions regarding it, or even achnoledge my support emails telling them about bugs in their server side software.

Does anyone know, what I can do about getting a refund (Roy says that if its no good he will give a refund). Is their some body to contact to report this incident.
Practice for fair internet trading, or something like that.

I was always a great follower of his, reading his newsletters, taking what he says seriously, but when you pay $100 for any software, I have always got an answer back from my emails.

The reports were not very good. So general, that I needed explanations of what his graphs are really representing.
Take my advice - dont buy this, buy Poker Office or Poker tracker. These guys have accurate software and good support,

I'd be very interested to see your reports and compare them with mine

I was 'told' I was playing a bit too passively, but the graph 'showed' I was playing a bit too aggressively - so what do I believe? It made me very dubious of the rest of the advice, to be honest

I have also written to 'support' and Roy's so-called e-mail address and not had one response to my concerns

It is true that Roy offered a full refund to anyone who paid the $99.95. If you do not receive the refund within the week, I suggest you contact Trading Standards. The address for Roy Rounder Com is a mail forwarding address...

Ps Roy is shooting himself in the foot with this poor customer service as these forum messages are indexed by the search engines and easily found on Google, etc. A good reputation is without price. A bad one costs you many, many customers

Pps It is a shame, because the idea is basically an excellent one and the presentation is very good (bar a few typos and mistakes)
