Villain is 33/10/2.2.

As this is a blind battle I don't like folding the flop as I have a pair. That being said the flop is not the best for my hand but I'm still ahead of a portion of villains range. As there's a whole host of cards I don't want to see on the turn should I actually just dump this on the flop?

I decided to call and the turn bricks off so I call again. The river Is bad in that some of his unimproved range now got there so I elect to fold. Getting 7 to 1 this is close on the river I think. Fold or call the river?

I don't like folding pairs on the flop HU but I'm actually thinking I should have folded this flop now I've looked at the hand again.

I hate folding pairs, but I also hate this board. I think I fold this, you only beat some Ax and Kx hands he would probably check behind on the river anyway.

And you feel pretty confident peeling this flop?

I think flop and turn are fine, as Willem said lots of players check behind the river with Ax and Kx, so with two broad way cards on the board, check folding the river seems good to me.

I would be inclinded to bet or c/r the flop to test it and hold on loosely after that (ok, I often check/ fold too Smile ) Check-calling down might be ok, but why did you give up?

IMO these are the kind of hands that set your image...esp b vs b. What kind of image does folding the river leave you with? What about check/calling and losing (or winning) showdown with 66?

Better yet, how about check raising the flop Twisted Evil

All - what's the point of calling the turn if you're going to fold that river? It would seem that for this line there are probably 20 "outs" that would cause a river fold, so isn't the turn call pretty thin?

With Hawk here, enough Ax hands will 3-bet pf to make this call worth while.
