I just had an awesome session. There are times when nothing works (like yesterday when I dropped over $1K), but sometimes everything works. My opponent was tilting pretty heavily at the end, swearing in the chat and spewing at every opportunity.

This was probably one of the hands that tilted him:

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $8/$16
2 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (2 players) Hero is SB with 6 of Clubs 5 of Spades
Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: 3 of Spades 9 of Clubs 10 of Clubs (6SB, 2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: 2 of Spades (4BB, 2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: 4 of Spades (6BB, 2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

Results:
Final pot: 10BB

Nice day.

It looks like you earned about $9/hand - impressive.

When it's not always raining there'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me there'll be days like this

Fine day, indeed Smile

Wow that's awesome.

Flop peels a bit loose even for HU isn't it?!

Yeah, it's very loose and I'm not even sure if it's correct. It's certainly not correct when you look at the hand in a vacuum. But when someone 3-bets you around 40% of the time (which he was doing at that time), you cannot worry about the EV of a single hand. This would be an insta-fold if villain doesn't 3bet often.

I guess it shows how opponent specfic the play is in HU. If he's 3 betting 40% of the time then your pair outs and backdoors probably make this a peel along with metagame variables. Man I've got a lot to learn playing HU!

Like I already said, I'm really unsure whether or not the flop call is correct. (Someone whose opinion I really value didn't like it.) So, please don't start making these 6-high peels and blame me. Wink

Not my choice. If it was up to me, I'd still be playing him. (I never leave when I have him tilted. Wink )
