Can ITH get rakeback for somebody if it is an existing account at FTP? I looked on raketherake and they say that they are sometimes able to do this. Wondering if it is common or if it usually doesn't work.

If you initially registered through an ITH link, we can get you setup. FTP was also at one point running a program to help convert players who had registered directly with them, rather than through an affiliate, but I haven't heard much about that recently. PM or e-mail me with your ID there, and I can look into it.

The account that I'm thinking of wasn't signed up through an ITH link. It was signed up using the "refer-a-friend" promotion (through Full Tilt). Once the initial bonus is cleared on that account, I'd like to get rakeback for it.
When this first came up, it looked an awful lot like FTP had simply created that site/affiliate itself in order to give themselves cover. I haven't heard much about it all in the last few months, so I don't know if they're even still doing it.
