Hi Everybody,
Because I used to play duplicate bridge, I welcomed the chance to learn about duplicate poker. It’s certainly different, and I enjoyed playing the game and interviewing Dan Goldman, the VP of Marketing for duplicatepoker-dot-com.
Barry Tanenbaum is the author of “Advanced Limit Hold’em Strategies” and collaborator on “Limit Hold’em: Winning Short-handed Strategies.” Before becoming a poker pro, he was a high-level duplicate bridge player. He will co-host this show and others.
That interview was recorded, and it will be broadcast on Wednesday, December 26 on holdemradio-dot-com. The show is called “Poker Psychology.” A short time later it will be available for downloading. Just click on “Podcasts” and “Poker Psychology.”
Dan was the VP of Marketing for Poker Stars, and he told some fascinating stories about Chris Moneymaker and his other experiences at Poker Stars.
Nolan Dalla, Media Director for the WSOP and Poker Stars, has taken that role for duplicate poker. He was in the studio when we talked, but declined to be interviewed because “with you, Barry, and Dan there I wouldn’t get a word in edgewise.”
Because duplicate poker greatly reduces the importance of luck, you can deposit money to your account with VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.
My earlier guests included Mason Malmuth, David Sklansky, Barry Tanenbaum, Prof. Arthur Reber, Matt Lessinger, Tom McEvoy, Bryan Devonshire, Tony Guerrera, Roy Cooke, Mathew Hilger, Ian Taylor, Tim Peters, Nick Christensen, Howard Schwartz, Dr. Jim McKenna, Tommy Angelo, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, Neil Myers, Maryann Morrison, Nick (“Stoxtrader”) Grudzien, Al Spath, Nolan Dalla, Jim Brier, Colin Moshman, Nick Gullo, Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, Sam O’Connor, Terry Borer, Lawrence Mak, Mike Caro, David Apostolico, Russell Fox, and Scott Harker. Most of their shows can be downloaded.
I hope you enjoy the shows and learn from them.
Regards,
Al |
