Just lost an allin with QQ vs A10, which left me with 3 BB's, but then tripled up the next two hands. Now i'm 5/8. Some very good players on this table too. MattSuspect and P0KERPR0. Also Scott Clements a Full Tilt Pro.

Now 3 left! P0KERPR0 is the monstorous chip leader and is dominating sadly. Oh, and i knocked out Scott Clements to claim the $150 bounty woohoo! Laughing

Great job, Rad! Going from 3BBs to 2nd is pretty sweet.

You're someone I've seen start to hit some big scores. Is there anything in particular that you've changed? (I have a feeling I've asked you this before, and that it was attributed to becoming more aggressive after reading Snyder, but I figured I'd ask again just in case). I'd also be interested to know how many tourneys you play to help get an overall picture.

Thanks dogs.

Three letters......PXF. That's what's helped me hit the big scores. I don't know if you're subscribed, but it really helps your game.

Another thing is i seem to play far more aggressive. Usually over-aggressive at times. I can go from chip leader to out within a couple of hands just because i 'made a play'. Re-stealing has also got better. If i sense someone is weak, i'll raise them with just about anything, I mean before, i would maybe flat call or fold nearly all of the time. But now, i just think what the heck and raise. It's all about confidence. You can't sit there and wait for the big hands and play scared. I used to play like that, especially in the late stages of a tourney.

To be fair, i don't play as many tourneys as i used to. I used to play n average 5 tourneys a day. Some nights i might sit there and multi-table 5 tourneys. But nowadays, i don't play as many, which i think has helped.

Congrats Radford, you are certainly scoring some great results!

I raise a lot more these days, especially later on in a tourney as most people are playing a bit scared. Watching Joe Hatchem helped me. He wins so many pots by being the agressor. Similarly Greg Raymer. I used to sit there and pick hands, and try and "stay in" a tourney, now I look to get a stack early or go out early. Heck if you're going to spend hours on it, it may as well be worth your while.

That said, I'm not at Radford's kind of buy in level!!

As an aside, I'm also in Sheffield Radford, do you play live anywhere?

Hmm not really mate. I used to play at the Napoleons Casino in the £10 rebuy, but i hate that tourney because the structure is terrible. I only really play online lol.

Caught this when I was grabbing the tournament info for Internet Poker Rankings.

Great finish on a truly tough table.

Congrats!
