I read ITH a few years ago when I first got into poker and I didnt really understand it. Since then I have bounced around from MTT/SNG's and NL cash games; nothing bigger than $1/$2.
I consider myself a great MTT and SNG player but I love playing cash games. I hate the swings of NL and think I can turn myself into a great limit player but I am going to have to work my way up through the micros. I think I will start with a bankroll of $150 and play .50/1.
My question is can I apply ITH to these lower limits or should I look at another book?
I actually believe that the concepts expressed in ITH are perfect for those limits. I think there are things that will serve you in good stead across much higher limits as well, but I always point friends just starting out in Hold'Em at ITH and it seems to be very effective for newer limit players.
