Re: Page 39 Hilger's book on calculating probability of 9 out flush draw with 2 cards to come. Why doesn't the calculation work if you multiply the probabilities that your card WILL come on either street eg, 9/47 X 9/46= 81/ 2162 or 3.7% ?

Basically, if you are just multiplying the odds of the two events, you're double counting the times that you get the flush on the turn and the river.
