HI Brent from New Zealand. I have recently purchased Matthew Hilger's book "Internet Texas Hold'em - Winning strategies from an Internet Pro".
This is a good read and is based around the full ring game. Does Matthew give recommended starting hands from various positions for the 6 handed Limit game on this site? If not what material or website can u direct me to.

Hi Brent, I am actually putting out a 2nd edition of Internet Texas Hold'em, but with a new title All About Limit Hold'em. That book will include two new chapters on short-handed games and will include starting hand guidelines. It looks like an October release and we will be offering preorders at a deep discount and all proceeds will benefit charity. Look for the preorders starting in September or so.

There are some charts on this floating around the net on various sites, I'm terrible as saving internet links though, so possibly someone else will post something that will do the trick. Failing that try doing a google search you will probably come across something useful.

A decent approximation is to use Matthew's charts assuming that UTG is the position at a full table where the first 4 players have folded. So if you're first or second to act at a 6person table, you would read the MP chart (and obviousy if your hand is a "Call 1" etc, you fold). Then LP and the blinds are the same.
That isn't quite right, as usually you'd want to be a bit looser and more aggro due to the way short tables tend to play, but especially for a beginner it'll do just fine.

I agree with ResumeMan that beginners could do what he said - use the ITH charts but assume the first four positions have folded. My charts in the new book for 6-max play are somewhat "advanced" in that they are loose and try to push edges with a loose image. They are also designed for weak-tight opponents so a lot of adjustments always need to be made against different opponents.
