Ha Thanks. I didn't even see that earlier today.

The bonus looks good. You have until the 29th to deposit. I know I will hit it up after I finish with the Eurolinx bonus. If anyone hits it up before be sure to post a report on the bonus crediting and cashouts.

Oddly, I was just about to post about this. It seems a ridiculously generous offer - is there a catch I'm missing?

Also, am I correct in thinking that 'sharing players' means that the games (and players) here will be identical to those I'm presently playing at Eurolinx?

Yes and yes. I started on the 23rd of January. You will face all the same players regardless of which site you play at, so all those stats, PT notes and ect from Eurolinx will carry over to Poker Host.

Here is how the deal works:

You can either deposit, redeposit or talk to live chat customer service. They will either base the reload on your [re]deposit or on how much you have in your account. I didn't reload. I had ~$250 in my account and they gave me the $200 bonus option.

I have to clear 2,000 regular raked hands [any hand raked at $0.25 or more] by February 6th. I then must clear 4,000 regular raked hands by March 6th. Finally, I must clear 8,000 regular raked hands by May 6th. After each clearance level, I must notify Poker Host that I have cleared that level before starting the next level. Once I have finally cleared the 14,000 regular raked hands, I get my $1,400 bonus. If I fail to complete any of the three levels, I receive nothing.

The catch is, that you need to clear each requirement, in order for the whole enchilada. Make sure you have plenty of funds to accomplish this

Thanks, P.

I've played 4300 RH in 3 weeks Eurolinx, so the $200 RO seems quite doable.

How do you find the play generally at Prima sites? I'm just about breaking even - which is OK financially, but not so encouraging on the skill side. But I've only been there a short while, so I've no real idea whether I'm playing a winning game or not. I played a couple of sessions back at Stars the other day and it felt like being back at .10/.20 in comparison.

I'm playing strictly $1/$2 FR FL. This is where I am finding the most consistent traffic capable of giving me enough hands to clear the bonus. It's tight [high 20s/low 30s], with lots of preflop raising, but the players will pay you off and most are poor post-flop players.

I've won a lot of pots by staying aggressive and three-betting.

Until this weekend I was getting crushed each day. I'm about $100 down still, but have managed to start winning again. I've been saying it for two weeks:

I'm playing the best poker of my life but getting hellishly unlucky. It's turning around. I've managed to win 81BB this past weekend.

Well, that's encouraging - not that you're losing but that running at or below par here doesn't necessarily mean you're playing badly.

Because of the traffic, I imagine several 2/4 and 3/6 players are chasing at 1/2 so, since I usually play 1/2, I might be meeting some better players than I have in the past. Overall, this will probably be good for my game, if I can stay afloat.

In a related thread, Bull gave some good advice to call down almost never at these tables. Whenever I ignore it I usually end up losing chips, and I've noticed that seems to happen to most other players, too. Folding is obviously your friend here; I just need to avoid getting run over by the more observant players. Perhaps I should disable my call button Smile.

You'll meet a few players there that you can call down. I have about 6 out of ~120 that are regulars that I gain a lot of chips off of because they either are not paying attention or are clueless of their play. They'll continue to bet their KK after two callers and me sitting on AK on an A high flop. I know from playing them that if I raise them or check raise they will fold. This is a double edged sword for them:

1. When I have what I think is the better hand I'll get paid off by calling the flop and turn bets and raising their river bet.

2. When I think I am behind, I can raise them and they'll fold quite consistently.

And no. Find them yourself. Razz

I was wrong! But in my defense their site and customer service weren't clear.

You get paid your at the end of each stage, not at the end of the entire promotion.

Well, I read this the same way: 'This means that once you are enrolled in the bonus amount of your choice, you must finish the requirements completely or you will forfeit the entire poker bonus. The bonus money cannot be withdrawn until the full requirements are met.'

Though it does also say: 'The rollover bonus will be released in 3 different stages.'

Perhaps they put it in your account, but take it away again if you don't reach the end. Confused

What happened to the sharing community? Laughing

There are a few really bad bluffers there, too: I'm back in the green now. Did you overplay at Eurolinx? (I'm not sure what the etiquette is.) I'm thinking of maybe just getting enough points for another $100 reward before baling.

I haven't played at Eurolinx yet. I want to cruise into this $1400 bonus here then maybe scale back for a month of non-crunch poker before tackling Eurolinx.....or another Poker Host bonus.
