If you started a website/wrote a book/whatever intended to give earnest sounding but bad advice for how to win at poker what kind of impact could you have? Could you generate a loyal following of losing poker players?
Anyone think this already exists (intentionally, or not)? |

Like the antithesis of HOH?
I think the players would wise up after losing, do some research, and adapt. |

| Wasn't there a book published like this like 2 or 3 years ago. I distinctly remember someone posting a link to amazon and several people going there and posting good reviews. |

I think it would work better as a website, seems like there's a de facto air of authority and people seem to "shop around" less.
In a related vein, why do we try to help people become better at poker? By we, obviously I mean the good posters/players here or on other web sites, as clearly ITH has a vested interest in improving people's play (sell more books, get more good rake generating players signed up, etc.). |

| I am sure anyone could create a legion of losing players, but they will not remain loyal for long if they have any brain cells. |
