Tonight I was trying to send a PM to both Scrote and Wes. With them both in the username box, I was getting this error when sending:
Sorry, but no such user exists. 'Sullen_Scrota
I picked both names by searching rather than typing them in, and tried both ways around so they looked:
Sullen_Scrota;badboywes
badboywes;Sullen_Scrota
I was able to send the message to them individually, but thought I'd report the issue. |

| if you type (or cut/paste) both names with the semi-colon in the middle, it'll work (just tried it with one of the PMs to you). There's something about the process of looking up the names that does something weird, but I haven't tried it in a while, so I don't recall the exact issue. |

Did you include Sullen_Scrota in your test? I've just done a copy and paste to try to send a message to him and Wes, and I still get the same error. I then tried with you in his place, and it worked:
badboywes;ciaran
(I've deleted that from my outbox so you don't receive it). |

| I just tested it a bunch of ways, and the only way it failed for me was when I used the search function, allowing it fill in one or more of the names in the to box. Can you type Sullen_Scrota;badboywes by hand have it work? |

Still no joy for me. I've tried typing it in both IE7 and Firefox, and even cleared my browser cookies in case something was cached.
It's not a big deal if I'm the only one with a problem. Thanks for checking it out. |

| If typing it straight up doesn't work, I'm at something of a loss. I've asked niin for his input, in case I'm missing something obvious. FWIW, I'm using Firefox on Linux, so there could still be a browser/OS combo problem. |

It seems to be a problem with caps in the name.
sullen_scrota;badboywes
works, but
Sullen_Scrota;badboywes
doesn't. Not really sure why that should matter, but it apparently does. Since the search function will put in the caps, it'll have the issue. |
