My guess would be AA2X, as he bet the pot the whole way down. It looks an awful lot like someone that doesn't know what they're doing in this game.

However, I don't play this game very often (very rarely TBH) and have no real experience to draw from.

I put him on AA al the way. I'll troll for more more comments before posting the spoiler. I found out later that the player is #3 on the Silver ($10-$50 buyin tournaments) PokerDB list.

I found it quite puzzling that he was unaffected by the third heart on the turn and the paired board on the river.

How about folding this preflop? Most boards which give you nut wrap potential also put two low cards on the board (67x, 57x or 87x), in which case you'll be playing for half the pot. You flush draws are also not to the nuts.

Defending your blind heads up never gives you less than 2-1 pot odds and that's pretty large at either form of Omaha. If no big blind already in, agreed, instamuck.

Disclaimer...Im more of a limit O8 player than pot limit, but on the first hand of the tournament (not knowing your opponents) I think this a pretty easy fold (I probably fold this even knowing my opponent. Its a super easy call if it was PLO, but I dont want to flop a wrap for half the pot...especially considering you are OOP...

My question is are you calling the flop solely on the strength of your flush draw or were you planning on trying to steal the pot away on safe cards?
FWIW I think I fold the flop anyways...I really feel that I can win other ppls chips in PLO8 without risking it all on this hand OOP

My thinking at the time was twelve outs against aces.

clabbers: shows [8h Ts 6d 9h] (HI: a flush, Queen high)
clabbers collected 6300 from pot
No low hand qualified
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 6300 | Rake 0
Board [7h Qh Kc 4h Ks]
Seat 1: kidlat88 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: layitdwnbaby (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 3: clabbers (big blind) showed [8h Ts 6d 9h] and won (6300) with HI: a flush, Queen high
Seat 4: halmarkkid folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: Kufoya folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 6: Daantje72 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: LifeXtreme showed [2h 6s 3d 7c] and lost with HI: two pair, Kings and Sevens
Seat 9: Pinkster52 folded on the Turn

What a deceptive play. Representing overplayed aces!

Does his second pot bet on the turn make any sense if he has the nut flush?
(Well yes, if I'm calling with a non-nut flush)

Something gave me a strong enough feeling that he was bluffing to hang in there. I tanked quite a while on the river.

With lots of other hands I'd agree but those are the exact kinds of cards you don't want to be playing in O8. If you complete the straight on the low end, you'll end up splitting with a low hand; if you complete on the high end you risk losing to a higher straight. And you have no chance of winning the low half yourself.
