I misclicked tonight and 3-bet A9o pre-flop against a TAG that had raised first in. He called and we were heads up. I have position. Flop comes all rags. How hard do you play this?
If her plays back, when do you give up?

Just play it like you do with your normal three bet range. Need some goofy hands in this range anyway something like 45 suited
.

Go to SD as cheaply as possible and make sure you show your cards.

Play it the way you would play A9o given everything that has happened... Bet the flop and make a judegment call on whether your hand is EV against his range if he plays back.

See if there is any info to be gained from your contiuation bet. If an A pops up and he doesn't c/r you does that take out AK and AQ from his range, ect. Will he fold unimproved overcards on the flop if he misses or does he call one bet to see the turn card?

I don't agree with just giving up on the hand. Try and take the pot away from him and get your misclicked chips back. If you just check it down, your just giving your chips away imo. Yeah, obviously if you bet and get called you could lose more chips, but i personally think it's better to try and take the pot down, rather than just giving up on the hand.

I remember once i had 34o utg with a short stack and misclicked min raise. The BB called, and the flop came 334. Villian had A4 and i won a nice pot hehe.

More players should raise blind or do something like raise wtih any two on Button and see what happens.

I think it probably will teach how easy it is to bluff (because most people miss the flop) and who to put pressure on and what type of players to stay away from. Also how important position is and aggression.

I think your unlucky to misclick with A9 prefer 34 in this situation.
