Did I go too far with 77 here? Find a fold on an earlier street? See a showdown?

Villain is 57/21.

I think the decision was on the turn. If you were going to call the turn, you should probably never fold the river. Especially a harmless one like that.

It is possible that you should fold the turn. It seems like the BB has to have a real hand. He called 3 bets preflop and raised the flop. That should either mean a flush draw or a Jack. If you think he could be betting that way with 55-TT (which is possible), you should call down. If not, you should probably fold the turn.

I will see a showdown here, leave that hard decisions whether to show down or not to ace high hands. I will never fold this river with a decent pair getting over 1:9.

Yeah. If you call the turn with a paired board, you have to call the river with a pair.

My thinking was that although villain is very loose nevertheless he still called a 3 bet cold pre flop so when he raises that flop it's a J, flush draw, or air. I call the turn because I pick up a small flush draw and to be honest I don't know why I folded this river, it seems like a pretty easy call getting that price. If my opponent was a TAG I can fold this but with this particular opponent it has to be a call, he's definitely firing air more than the required 10% here. I guess hands like this go some way to indicating why my AF is high and my showdown low.

I don't know jack about limit, but getting those odds on that board I'm calling with 77 even against Action Dan.
