Are all these minbets? Header says PLO where the most common bet is pot sized.
Reasonable to chase non-nut backdoor flush on turn with two pairs . Against a solid player, you are facing AQ which may or may not have redraws. There's a slight chance he's semibluffing with nut diamond draw and no broadway. If there were two diamonds on flop your ten high flush draw would be nearly worthless, but AQ explains MP2's flop check and turn bet a little better than nut diamond draw with no queen. Both is a unpleasant possibility.
On the river the nuts are still the nuts. You don't have them. Fold.
Cloutier said Omaha was unbluffable. You and I know that's an overstatement (not to mention Sam Farha), but the game is really less bluffable than hold em. Someone who will fire three times at a pot is going to run into the nuts far too often to profit from such heart/insolence/stupidity. So you can only beat a fish here. |

Am I wrong to think that a 1/2 to 2/3 pot size bet thins out the field after the flop? Only a pair of Jacks, but an open end straight draw has lots of nuts value here, plus no flush draws yet. AQ like to fold in this spot unless they caught more of the flop, and I'm guessing if they had the J or K (or both) you likely would have seen a raise PF. Turn call is fine with 2 pair and the Ace for a shared straight depending on bet size. For a small bet I probably call, for a pot size bet probably folding. River fold is definitely smart unless the bet was very very small (like betting 50-100 into a 500 chip pot).
And FWIW, the 8:15 PLO $8.80 at Stars is a great tourney to play for experience. Not too much of an entry fee, capped at 360 so it doesn't take too too long, and 1st is something like $750. The skill of the players at this tourney varies greatly... some very good players, some absolute fishes.

Aw it's all gone silly.
I'll just fix it manually till I find out what went wrong.

I think you could go either way with the turn call... you have 4 outs to the FH and 7 outs to the Flush (3rd nut) that doesn't pair the board. So 4 to 1 to improve your hand and getting 2 to 1 on your money... but you might be able to get more $$ if your hand comes in. Still think a 125-175 chip bet on the flop might take the pot down right then and there or at least set you up for a continuation bet on the turn.
