WCOOP Event #20 - $1050 buy-in ITH Players Championship Terms
Ok the terms last year were more complex because we were actively seeking money into the backers pool. So I'm going to try and simplify them without copying and pasting.
The players Championship buy-in will consist of 2 pools of money. A Backers pool and a Winners pool. All stakes in the Backers pool will pay 1:1 of any winnings the Champion may earn in the WCOOP Event #20.
The buy-in for the satelite to the People's championship will be $105. This buy-in will be equally split between the Winners pool and the backers pool and will buy you a shot at becoming the People's Champion or having 5% of the winners action.
All the money in the Winners pool goes toward the Winners equity in the WCOOP #20 event and all money in the backers pool is retained by the backers as their equity in the winner.
Their will be a maximum of 10 players allowed in the satelite and it will be first paid first reserved. I will handle all of the buy-in funds and disperse the passwords for the satelite.
The satelite will cost an additional $5.50 to play and this money will not count towards the backers or the players pool and it will be distributed as per Stars regular pay structure.
---
The satelite will run on Sunday September 7th, 1.5 hours before the Million begins (3:00 EST I believe)
The Actual Event is on Sunday September 14th
---
Please make sure you can play in both events otherwise it just screws everthing up.
If you cannot send the money on Stars, you can contact me and I may entertain alternate arrangements. I will accept W$ as payment as long as Stars allows us to transfer them without problem.
Please ship the buy-in ($105) to Zutzman (Edmonton) on Stars or make other arrangements.
If the winner of the Championship Event is unable or unwilling to play at the Main Event of the WCOOP, the stakes will be refunded to everyone if an alternate arrangement is not reached.

I'll reserve gerenal public staking requests in this thread if we need them to fill up. With Willem's and thew92's commitments we are up to 55% committed. We'll get there, I'm still waiting on money transfers from some of the potential players as well. |

Radford has told me he is in as has cowboyfan, and I expect that TallPaul and jrspm will be in as well. If those 4 join we'd be 80% sold out and with the backing committments we will make it.
There are also a couple of maybe's still out there. |

I just learned that the $1050 event is now a 2-day event this year, the Day 1 cut-off will be deep into the money so it might give you extra motivation to skip on on work on Monday if need be... but if it is not possible to play both days please let me know and we can make arrangements to send your buy-in back.
I'll be shipping passwords tonight. |
