Hi Everybody,
Nick is a highly respected book reviewer. His reviews appear in “Poker Player” (pokerplayernewspaper.com) and on his website, npc-at-jetcafe-dot-org. Because I had interviewed many poker authors, Nick suggested a different kind of show: He interviewed me about my book, “Your Worst Poker Enemy.”
My show is called “Poker Psychology with Dr. Al Schoonmaker,” and it can be heard at holdemradio-dot-com every Wednesday at 8:30 to 9:30 PM, Pacific Time.
All shows are archived, and you can download most of them to your PC or iPod a few days after the broadcast. Click on “Podcasts” and “Poker Psychology.”
Unfortunately, someone hacked into our server, and many shows are not currently available. We hope that they will be available soon.
Some of poker’s best thinkers and writers have appeared or will soon do so: Mason Malmuth, David Sklansky, Barry Tanenbaum, Prof. Arthur Reber, Matt Lessinger, Tom McEvoy, Bryan Devonshire, Tony Guerrera, Roy Cooke, Mathew Hilger, Ian Taylor, Tim Peters, Nick Christensen, Howard Schwartz, Dr. Jim McKenna, Tommy Angelo, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, Neil Myers, Maryann Morrison, Nick (“Stoxtrader”) Grudzien, Al Spath, Nolan Dalla, Jim Brier, Colin Moshman, Nick Gullo, Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, Sam O’Connor, Terry Borer, Lawrence Mak, Mike Caro, Russell Fox, Scott Harker, and Bob Ciaffone.
I hope you enjoy the shows and learn something from them.
Regards,
Al |

Dr Al - I have been having problems with the site being available. Anyone to complain to or just wait until it returns?
I like to listen to your podcasts. |

Hi Everybody,
The owner of the website ran out of money, and the website can’t be accessed.
It may or may not come back online.
I have agreed to move my show to roundersradio.com. Some other holdemradio.com shows are also going there. Barry Tanenbaum will continue to co-host many shows.
Roundersradio.com has a much larger audience than holdemradio.com. It even has three telephone numbers for call ins from the U.S. (810-496-3428), Canada (519-913-2250), and The United Kingdom (0207-993-6143). So more people will hear the shows and call in to discuss them.
Because I am behind schedule on a book that is due May 1, my show will not be scheduled regularly until May. I will do occasional shows.
Regards,
Al |
