|
|
Okay, I saw the new add and didn't see anything that referred to it, so I'm gonna ask:
Does anyone here know anything about it?
How long has it been up and running?
Is it associated with any other poker sites? (i.e. PS or FTP)
Thanks. |

This is our latest advertiser and it is a brand new site. I hope people will give them a try and post their feedback. Here is some feedback from Piscivorous:
- Coolhand Poker is a MicroGaming poker site, sharing tables with Doyle's
Room, Poker Host and the other MicroGaming sites.
- 100% up to $350 initial deposit bonus which releases in $10 increment each time a player achieves 100 raked/dealt hands. 60 days to complete as much bonus as possible. From experience chasing a $400 bonus at $1/$2 FL [they have table highers but no traffic] at Poker Host, it's a huge grind, but they do pay out incrementally. Unsure of NL and shorthanded clearance rates, however.
- There seems to be good traffic at NL200 and NL100 shorthanded
and plenty of NL50 fullring tables. I don't play shorthanded nor NL so
there very well could be plenty of action and improved clearance at
these types of games.
- MicroGaming traffic is running at 6500 seated players [their numbers] at
5:30PM EST. Pokerscout has MicroGaming at 1727 cash game players at same time, so decent traffic.

| what are the different cashiering options? This will probably have a huge impact on how many people try it out. Also is there rakeback and such? |

Coolhand Poker is currently our newest advertised pokersite.
It is a new room belonging to the MicroGaming Poker Network, meaning that players from some states will be unable to participate:
Illinois
Indiana
Kentucky
Louisiana
Michigan
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
Oregon
South Dakota
Washington
Wisconsin
They are offering a 100% up to $350 bonus which clears at $1 per 10 raked hands, where a player was dealt cards and the pot was raked at least $0.25. Players have 60 days to clear as much of the bonus as possible and it pays out in $10 increments. This is impressive by MicroGaming standards, because other than Doyle's Room, no MicroGaming sites I have played at or heard of pays out in incremental bonuses.
They take Visa, MasterCard and Diner's Club, but only withdraw to certain Visa cards. The two US deposit options are eCheck and UseMyWallet. Non-Americans will find all of their usual deposit options available to them.
MicroGaming offers NL and FL Holdem with most of the traffic in the lower stakes and buy-ins. They have a great tournament schedule and decent SnG traffic.
Feel free to ask me more questions about them and I will attempt to answer them. |

I don't think so. Both PokerStars and Full Tilt list their option as Instant eCheck, whereas Coolhand has their's listed simply as eChecks. Logos are different also. |
