Hi,
This is my first post and I know new member won't get a stake, anyway off to stats first (which I cannot show you any becos I'm not allowed to post a damn pic):
First off, I must say that I am annoyed by this forum rule that new users cant show pics or links in their posts, cos I have poker grapher and pt to show my actual stats in pics, uploaded to tinypic but somehow can't show them here, since I kinda want to backup my talk a bit.
Why I need to show you the numbers:
Three things, 1: someone might eventually ship it crucial to me at PS 2. coaching 3. hand session review (im particularly interested in hu session)
I have an account at PS but I don't play there since there is no rakeback. But I'll take actions if someone stakes me to play their ring game (or play their account since ppl might want to accumulate points), deal is 50/50 and u will take any losses, u may pull a stop at anytime and i can be reached via msn. im a member of stoxpoker under the same name and won> 5k last month excluding rakeback (no biggie obv im around 2.2bb/100), i play in more than one site and is currently winning in all sites ive played, but since not all of them support pt so u'll just have my words on this (this is why I want to show the pics). I will also do coaching for free via msn if you think i might be able to help.
Apart from the begging, I might stake others so that's another reason for my post here. Convince me you are good (support with evidence) and I'll give out stakes, but I am not too interested in micro or mega stakes so something in the range of 50-200 per stake would be good. |

Welcome to ITH.
A piece of friendly advice.
Go to the index page.
Scroll down to the place where it says: "Staking" and click.
Read the rules part.
Follow this and you could in time get the backing you're looking for.

I've read the rules there but it says new member cannot get a stake, so I would like to get some post count first (and I can't even post pics with less than 10 posts)
further im not just asking for stakes, i want to do session review and maybe coaching with other members, so if anyone is interested pls let me know. |

But he's also looking to stake others! I don't understand.. if you have money to stake others why do you need staking yourself? |

Yes I'm not as broke as you might think, my main game is LHE 5/10-20/40 hu.
The reason I'm asking for stake is just that I want to try the games on PS but don't want to commit myself with no rakeback. As I've said I might play other people's account if they are okay with it, obv I might take the money and run, plus this will expose their privacy so I think maybe a stake will do better.
Second I have no problem if people don't want to give out stake at all. I want others to comment on my game so I suggested swapping hand session for review. Thirdly if you have questions in ur hu game I might be able to offer advice based on what I've learnt from freedom25 on fulltilt.
I can totally understand the reason that you are laugh at a new account who begs for money, ha, it's actually interesting that no one noticed what I've also said about hand session review and coaching. If you doubt my ability it's totally reasonable because I cannot provide a pic of my stats (becos of this "new account can't post pic" rule in this forum). I'll post my stats after I have 10 posts on here and it's from pt + poker graph, I didnt claim I'm very good at all, just a +2bb/100 player over 15k hands, I'm not an expert, I want to improve my hu game, which is the main reason why I joined this site and made my first post.
So, anyone wants to take stake from me? I can offer 50-200 a piece, you just need to convince me that you are +ev for me to give you $ with evidence to support your case. |

In general, we don't allow new accounts to post links because this is an extremely helpful anti-spam device. Before we implemented this rule, we always had lots of spammers posting links to a variety of things.
It does sometimes slow down new users, but it usually is a good idea to poke around and posts answers to strategy questions or your own strategy posts first before you jump into detailed posts about your poker tracker stats.
You will also find that there isn't too much enthusiasm for staking arrangements with new members. We have even established that as a rule. There are good reasons for that, primarily that the risk of someone running off with your money is higher when new unknown members are involved.
You are welcome to participate in strategy discussions and to try to improve your game. You are also welcome to stake any members that you like. You are not, under our rules, welcome to ask for stakes. Since the only apparent point to this thread is to discuss your potential receipt of stakes, I'm going to lock this thread.
If you want to try to find people to accept staking from you, you are welcome to post those offers in the Staking forum. If you want to seek strategy advice or comment, you are welcome to start a new thread on that basis.
If your ultimate goal is just to obtain stakes, I would suggest that you search elsewhere. It is also of mild concern to me that you are posting from a redirector service out of Hong Kong. That suggests that you are hoping to disguise your identity. |
