In "the poker tournament formula" the author writes that it would be good practice to play a tournament without looking at your cards.I thought I would give it a try.
I picked a $4.40 180man sng that stars runs so losing a small buyin like this wouldnt matter and even if I got deep I wouldnt be tempted to look not that I expected to make it to the money.
This really isnt much of a rave but I managed to place in 16th and finished ITM.
I recorded I could see what I was folding and playing and oddly enough the first hands I played I flopped trips and then a set.I would have folded if I got played back at though.
I did fold AQ 3 times when I was short on chips and also KK.Some other folds that were easy shoves as well.
I only had 2 showdowns in the whole tourny.
I dont know if this is really an impressive feat but I really didnt expect to make the money so therefore I rave lol.
