I've been too busy to write up a trip report, but I did manage to edit and upload the photos. I removed the obviously horrific ones where people had eyes closed or were very blurry. If there are other photos in the set that you would rather not see posted publicly, send me a note and I'll delete them for you. If you would like nicer copies, I can send the high-res versions to you for any pictures you like.

Thanks for all that effort. Your camera seems to be flawed in that it aged me considerably, but still a nice effort.
Now what about that hand history of the entire main event that you have stored away somewhere? |

Great shots Nside.
I've been reading through all of the trip updates and was feeling quite proud about this community I started. Then you post these pics and I start to question my sanity as it takes some stretching to be proud of that group!
Seriously, every convention I am overwhelmed at how we all come together from across the globe and just mesh within minutes of seeing each other. What a great group of characters despite the photos

Quoted For Truth. Bringing 30 complete (mostly) strangers together and having the instant "friendships" was quite amazing to me. I walked away from this truly feeling like I have a new sub-family, even moreso than I felt prior to this.

Very true...I wasnt sure what to expect but I instantly felt that I was with long time friends.... Elmo said to me it's good to see you again, but we had never met before.....it just seemed like I was getting together with my buddies for our home game. |

I can only echo what so many others have said. I knew I had people that were friends "online" but now I have over 30 people I really feel are long time buddies.
I've said it before and will say it again, this place is so much more than just a forum about poker (not that it isn't the best one there is), it is about the quality people that we have here that makes it the place it is.
And Matthew you should be proud because it all started with you. |
